Masteria colombiensis Raven, 1981: 61 View in CoL , figs 13–18, 20, 22.
Types. COLOMBIA. ♂ holotype , ♀ paratype, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta (11°14’10”N; 74°12’6”W), San Pedro, Magdalena, 29.III.1975. J. A. Kochalka leg., deposited in AMNH, examined). GoogleMaps
Diagnosis. Males of M. colombiensis resemble those of M. downeyi , M. lewisi , M. yacambu n. sp., M. amarumayu n. sp., M. mutum n. sp. and M. aguaruna n. sp. in the piriform bulb, and differ in the coiled distal area of the embolus ( Fig. 13B–C View FIGURE 13 ). The female genitalia are similar to those of M. amarumayu n. sp., M. mutum n. sp. and M. aguaruna n. sp. in the bilobed spermathecae, with the conical ectal lobe. The female differs from those of other species in the short duct on the ental spermathecal lobe ( Fig. 13D–E View FIGURE 13 ).
