Basionym: Conchidium dickasonii Ormerod View in CoL , Taiwania View in CoL 57: 117, 2012. Type:— MYANMAR. Chin State: Falam District, 1980 m, 2 Apr 1938, Dickason 7359 p.p. (holotype: AMES [barcodes Harvard University Herbaria 00287641 & 00083636]).
Specimens examined:— CHIN. Falam District : type; same loc., 1890 m, 16 Mar 1910, Venning 3 ( K) , ident. uncertain; Mindat District : 1500 m, 9 Aug 2008, Yasuda 060032 ( MBK) , ident. uncertain; same loc., 9 Aug 2008, Yasuda 060041 ( MBK) .
Distribution:— Endemic.
Notes:— Dickason 7359 is a mixed collection; see note under Dendrobium laterale L.O.Williams. The abovecited collections of P. dickasonii are leafless in the flowering stage, except Yasuda 060032 which has leaves and flowers at the same time. The collection Yasuda 060041 at MBK has two plants on this sheet, a flowering specimen (photo), which is leafless, and a non-flowering one (plant), which has well-developed leaves.
