Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina, southwestern and southern China, Taiwan, Japan, western Malesia and possibly northeastern India.
Note:— Taxonomic studies by Ormerod (2018: 274) clearly indicated that this name has been misapplied outside of Malaysia and Singapore. The identity of Myanmar material (which is likely a different taxon) is an issue the authors hope to take up in the near future.
