Basionym: Vanda subulifolia Rchb. View in CoL f., Flora 69: 552, 1886. Type:— MYANMAR. Upper part: imp. Veitch s.n. (holotype: W-R 37215). Homotypic synonym: Paraholcoglossum subulifolium View in CoL (Rchb.f.) Z.J.Liu, S.C.Chen & L.J.Chen, PLoS ONE 6 (10): 6, 2011.
Specimen examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Type. Reported from Kachin State, Sagaing Region and Chin and Shan states by Kress et al. (2003: 81), but we have not seen material from these areas .
Distribution:— Upper Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern and southern China.
