Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand and Indochina.
Notes:— An erroneous record for Myanmar of E. bicallosa (D.Don) P.F.Hunt & Summerh. can be traced back to Lindley, who incorrectly referred Griffith’s Cymbidium sp. no. 9 to the synonymous Cyrtopera bicarinata Lindl. See Appendix II.
