Basionym: Cypripedium View in CoL × leeanum Rchb. View in CoL f., Gard. Chron., n.s., 21: 50, 1884. Type:—Cult. Veitch s.n. (probably not preserved). Heterotypic synonym: Paphiopedilum View in CoL × leeanum O.Gruss, Orchidee (Hamburg) View in CoL 66: 277, 2015. Type:— MYANMAR. Without locality: ex cult. Popow, Gruss s.n. (holotype: HAL 116306).

Distribution:— Endemic.
Notes:— Paphiopedilum × leeanum is a putative artificial hybrid between P. insigne and P. spicerianum . Recently, Gruss (2015) described a natural hybrid of the same parentage.
