Specimens examined:— SHAN. Unspecified: May 1896, Pantling 583 ( K, icon. K) ; Taunggyi District : May 1932, Dickason 5754 & 5765 ( AMES) ; same loc., 1675 m, May 1939, Dickason 8392 ( AMES) ; southern part: type. KAYAH. Unspecified: Tanaka s.n. ( TNS, photo seen). WITHOUT LOCALITY. Types .
Distribution:— Endemic.
Note:— A record from Thailand for this species ( Seidenfaden 1988: 279) was found to be L. primulina .
