Distribution:— The eastern Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand and southwestern China.
Cheirostylis pubescens C.S.P.Parish & Rchb. f., Trans. Linn. Soc. London 30: 141, 1874. Type :— MYANMAR. Mon State : Mawlamyine District, Parish 104 (holotype: K; icon. W-R 21250 )
Specimens examined:— SHAN. Taunggyi District : 1530 m, 27 Sep 2015, Kilgour et al. m-765 ( MBK), ident. uncertain . MON. Mawlamyine District: type; same loc., 1861, Parish 123 ( K). Also reported from Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 69), but we have not seen material from this area.
Distribution:— Endemic.
Note:— Parish 104 is the number of the collection from Mon State. By error Parish (1883: 202) cited Parish 154.
