Comparative notes. Nazeris parabrunneus is so similar to N. brunneus Hu, Zhao & Zhong, 2006 in general appearance and aedeagal characters, but can be distinguished by the following characters: the prominence of male sternite VII in the middle of the posterior margin is shorter and more obtuse; the emargination of the male sternite VIII is wider; the two lateral processes of ventral process of the aedeagus lacking small triangular protuberance near their middle; the apical part of the dorso-lateral apophyses is much wider in ventral view.

Distribution and habitat data. Specimens were found in several localities in south Zhejiang and north Fujian. The specimens were collected by sifting leaf litter at altitudes of 500–1320 m.
