Diagnosis. Surstylus with several thin, long setae basally and 1 strong prensiseta apically ( Figs 10B View FIGURE 10 , 11B View FIGURE 11 ); gonopods with 1 pair of projections sublaterally ( Figs 10D View FIGURE 10 , 11D View FIGURE 11 ); aedeagus mostly ciliate and separated to leafiness from basally ( Figs 10C View FIGURE 10 , 11C View FIGURE 11 ); 10th sternite mostly narrow, nearly arcuate, with 1 pair of projections posterolaterally ( Figs 10E View FIGURE 10 , 11E View FIGURE 11 ). Only characters departing from the diagnosis of the ornatipes species group ( Cheng et al. 2009) are provided for brevity.
