*1. Prinobius myardi myardi Mulsant, 1842

Examined material. None.

Distribution. Mediterranean, Crimean Peninsula, Mt. Caucasus, Iran.

Distribution in Serbia. Serbia, without precise locality (3).

Remarks. Althoff & Danilevsky (1997) reported the taxon from Serbia, but without any additional data on the precise finding. No other data available from the literature exist regarding the subspecies’ presence in Serbia. This record is questionable, although the taxon is recorded in some other Balkan countries ( Ilić 2005; Özdikmen 2007).
