Distribution. Europe, Near East, Northern Africa ( Löbl & Smetana 2010).
Distribution in Serbia. N (V), W, C, E, and S (2; 9; 14; 17; 21–23; 27; 43; 53, 54; 60; 62; 68; 75; 76; 80).
Remarks. According to Mikšić & Georgijević (1971), the records from Serbia should be checked. This is surprising since numerous findings were reported in a few studies that were published before the mentioned work. The species is distributed in the whole territory of Serbia, mostly sporadically found, seldom in a larger amount. We found the specimens solely in pitfall traps filled with alcoholic vinegar.
