Distribution. Mountain areas in Europe, Mt. Caucasus, Transcaucasian area, Near East.
Distribution in Serbia. N (V), W, C, E, and S (including K) (1; 2; 5; 9; 10; 14; 17; 21–23; 25; 27; 39; 43; 53; 54; 60; 62; 68; 69; 80).
Remarks. Widely distributed in montane areas in the country. The specimens were mostly collected on recently cut beech trunks, while to a lesser extent in wine traps.
