Tibicen cultriformis (Davis, 1915) View in CoL new record.

The SEMC has specimens from Sonora, 11 miles West of Imuria, 26–IX–1958.

The species was previously known from Arizona ( Metcalf 1963a) and New Mexico (Sanborn unpublished). It is not surprising to extend the range of the species into Mexico as the author has collected specimens within a few kilometers of the Arizona-Mexico border.
