Material examined. RUSSIA: 1Ƥ (ZMMU), Magadan Area, upper reaches of Ola River, 60°39’N 151°16’E, 7- 12.08 .2011 (O.L.Makarova).
Comments. The species is described in an earlier paper and is the type species of the genus. It is most similar to S. subsolana (Kulczyński, 1907) , with which it was earlier confused. Sibirocosa kolymensis is known from several localities in the upper Kolyma and northern Cisokhotia (Marusik et al. 2004). The record from northern Cisamuria (Trilikauskas 2007) refers to S. trilikauskasi sp. n. (see text below).
