Anomopterellinae : Rasnitsyn, 1980: 180 [as subfamily of Praeaulacidae View in CoL ]; Zhang & Rasnitsyn, 2008: 483 [rediag.]; Li et al., 2013a: 3 [diag., restored as a family of Evanioidea View in CoL ].
Currently 12 species within three genera of this family are recorded in the world, with nine species from two genera reported from China, included within Anompopterella (8 spp.) and Synaphopterella ( 1 sp.).
