Agrostocynips diastrophi (Ashmead) , n. comb.
Ganaspis diastrophi Ashmead 1896: 184–185 .
The original description states ‘Reared from blackberry gall, Diastrophus cuscutaeformis O.S.’ All known species of Agrostocynips are leafminer parasitoids ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ); it is probable the described specimens (holotype and paratype) emerged from leafminers accompanying the vegetation in which the gall was formed.
