Diagnosis. See under E. angeloi and E. manauensis . Epipleoneura williamsoni can be recognized by the following unique combination of characters: Male cercus with a dorsal and a ventral branch separated by a wide excavation, dorsal branch flattened, ventral branch rounded in lateral view, wide, slightly longer than half the length of dorsal branch; apex of paraproct surpassing level of apex of ventral branch ( Figs. 24 View FIGURES 22 – 24 a–c). The posterior margin of female pronotum ( Fig. 63 View FIGURES 53 – 66 ) is unique within the genus, it has an erect triangular lobe on each side; middle section between lobes flat and low.

Distribution. Central and central-southern Brazil in São Paulo, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, and Bahia States (São Paulo, Pirassununga, São Vicente River County, border with Passa Quatro County, about 21°59'45"S 47°25'37"W). Central Paraguay.
