3.13 Baeocera sp.

A single female from Malleco: near Malalcahuello was recognized as a distinct species in LÖBL 1983: 168, under " Baeocera species B ". It is 1.8 mm long, thus larger than its Chilean congeners, and characterized by the sutural striae of elytra starting at margins of pronotal lobe, the elytral punctation evanescent, and the metaventrite bearing two conspicuous punctate impressions, in combination.
