Diagnosis, female. Macropterous, body completely yellow-whitish ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ), head subspheroidal ( Figs 1A, C View FIGURE 1 ); eye situated laterally on sides of ocellar triangle ( Figs 1A, C View FIGURE 1 ); forewing hyaline, not darkened ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ).

Description of the holotype. Female ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Macropterous ( Figs 1A, B, E View FIGURE 1 ); length 1.9 mm. Body completely yellow-whitish ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 ). Antenna geniculate, articulated to strong frontal process; antennomeres in following proportions: 10:3:9:9:9:9:8:8:7:9. Head subspheroidal ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ), with eye situated laterally on sides of ocellar triangle ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). Head convex, shiny, unsculptured. POL = 2; OL = 2; OOL = 4; OPL =4; TL = 6. Pronotum shiny, unsculptured, with strong complete longitudinal furrow. Mesoscutum shiny, unsculptured. Notauli very short, only shortly visible near anterior margin of mesoscutum. Mesoscutellum and metanotum shiny, unsculptured. Metapectal-propodeal complex ( Figs 1D, E View FIGURE 1 ) shiny, without longitudinal keels, disc slightly granulate and propodeal declivity reticulate rugose. Forewing ( Fig. 1E View FIGURE 1 ) hyaline, not darkened, without dark bands, with first medial (1M) and second cubital (2Cu) cells closed and subrectangular. Tibial spurs 1/2/2. Male. Unknown.

Material examined: Type: ♀ holotype: MADAGASCAR: Toliara Prov., Beza Mahafaly Reserve , parcelle I near research station, 23°41.19’S 44°35.46’E, 165 m, 4–11.XII.2001, Malaise trap, in dry deciduous forest, R. Harin’Hala leg. GoogleMaps , MA-02-14A-05 ( CAS).
