Type material of R. nitidissima , examined: A syntype male (in a fairly good condition) in EFC is herein designated as lectotype and is labeled: 4th Tour , Suez, 18.2.1921; paralectotype, female: same data .
Distribution: AF: United Arab Emirates. PA: Egypt, Israel, Jordan.
Egyptian localities: Eastern Desert: Cairo-Suez Road , Suez, Wadi Rishrash, Wadi Um Elek . Sinai: Abu Zeneima, Wadi El-Lega, Wadi El-Rabba, Wadi Itlah . Upper Nile Valley : Wadi Assiout .
Dates of collection: February to September.
