TYPE DEPOSITORY: National Museum of Ireland (= Irish National Museum), Dublin, Ireland. TYPE LOCALITY AND HABITAT: Lucan Demesne, Dublin, Ireland, under stones.
NOTE: Athias-Henriot (1959) transferred this species from Laelaps to Proctolaelaps without comment. We are unable to place this species in a genus on the basis of the available information.
