Stibarokris dastychi View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figs.1–8 View FIGURES 1 – 2 View FIGURES 3 – 8 )
Description. FEMALE (holotype). Total body length 895 (750 in 1 paratype). Gnathosoma . Infracapitulum densely punctate. Lateral hypostomal teeth obvious and strongly sclerotized ( Fig.3 View FIGURES 3 – 8 ). Each transverse branch of peritremes with 5–6 chambers, each longitudinal branch with 11–14 chambers ( Fig.4 View FIGURES 3 – 8 ). Stylophore punctate, 245 (245) long. Movable cheliceral digit 190 long. Idiosoma . Propodonotal shield well sclerotized, punctate, slightly concave on anterior margin. Length ratio of setae vi:ve:si 1:1:1. Bases of setae c1 and se situated at same transverse level. Dorsal idiosomal setae, except terminal setae f1, f2, h1, h2, strongly knobbed. Hysteronotal shield fused to pygidial shield, punctate, bearing bases of setae d1, e2 and all terminal setae. Length ratios of setae f1:h1 and ag1:ag2:ag3 1:2 and 1:1:1.4 respectively. Genital setae g2 about 1.3 times longer than g1 and about twice longer than pseudanal setae. Coxal fields I–IV densely punctate. Setae 3c 1.1–1.6 times longer than 3c. Legs. Fan–like setae p’ and p” with 13 tines ( Fig.8 View FIGURES 3 – 8 ). Setae tc” III–IV 2.2–2.4 times longer than tc’ III–IV. Lengths of setae. vi 130 (130), ve 135 (140), si 130 (135), c2 170 (160), se 185 (170), c1 170 (200), d2 155, d1 170 (180), e2 155 (165), f1 20, f2 330 (335), h1 45 (45), h2 600 (580), ag1 255, ag2 265, ag3 (355), g1 45, g2 55, ps1 25 (25), ps2 25 (25), tc’III– IV 55 (45), tc”III–IV 120 (105), sc3 80 (65), sc4 90 (85), 3b 135 (130), 3c 145 (205). MALE. Unknown.
Type material. Female holotype and female paratype from quills of covert feathers of Phalacrocorax carbo (Linnaeus) (Pelecaniformes: Phalacrocoracidae ) from Germany.
Type material deposition. The material is deposited in the AMU.
Etymology. This new species is named in honor of Polish zoologist Dr. Hieronim Dastych.
Differential diagnosis. The new species S. dastychi sp. nov. is morphologically similar to S. langei Bochkov et Mironov, 1999 . In females of both species each transverse and longitudinal branches of the peritremes are represented by 5–6 and 10–14 chambers, respectively; fan-like setae p’ and p” of legs III and IV are with 11–13 tines. The new species is distinguishable by the following characters: in females of S. dastychi , the hysteronotal shield is fused to the pygidial shield, the length ratio of setae f1:h1 is 1:2, and the lengths of setae vi, ve and si is 130–140. In females of S. langei , the hysteronotal shield is not fused to pygidial shield, the length ratio of setae f1:h1 is 1:1, and the lengths of setae vi, ve and si are about 60–80.
