♣ Cyclopoapseudes View in CoL sp.
Material examined. TA: nine individuals. CNCR 35345. Tr-Loc: Madagascar, Yucatan, Mexico, 21°26’30.12’’N 90°17’25.9’’W, five individuals, 29 May 2012, coll. GR, IW, MA, UP, collected at 15 m depth; Tr-Loc: Sisal, Yucat- an, Mexico, 21°20’54.4’’N 90°08’52.5’’W, two individuals, 30 May 2012, coll. GR, IW, MA, UP, collected at 9 m depth; Tr-Loc: Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico, 21°18’13.3’’N 89°39’59.9’’W, two individuals, 05 June 2012, coll. GR, IW, MA, UP, collected at 1 m depth. These specimens were collected in sponges such as A. crassa , I. notabilis , M. arbuscular , and algae such as B. tenella . The abundance of females and males was not recorded for this species.
Local distribution. Consult Cházaro-Olvera et al. (2018).
Geographical distribution. Atlantic Ocean: Port Everglades, Florida; GoM: Florida Middle Grounds, Florida Bay, Florida Keys, Key West, Tuxpan-Lobos Protected Natural Area; Caribbean Sea: Barbados, British West Indies.
Recognition characters. Oval body; rostrum rounded; with eyes; pereonites and pleonites wider than long.
Remarks. This species occurs on live bottom, coral reef habitats, with algae such as C. racemosa , D. dichotoma , and U. lactuca , at depths 7 to 12 m.
