TYPE LOCALITY: Turkey, Pontus Prov., Sumila, 30 mi S Trebizond (= Trabzon) .

DISTRIBUTION: Recorded only from forests of W Caucasus Mtns, and NE Turkey.

SYNONYMS: circassicus, occidentalis personatus , pshavus , turovi.

COMMENTS: Reviewed by Corbet (1978c).
