TYPE LOCALITY: Philippines, Mindanao Isl, Bugasan, Cotabato, 50 ft .

DISTRIBUTION: Formerly recorded from Negros and Mindanao (Musser, 1982b), but revised view excludes it from Negros, and records it from lowlands of Mindanao, Bohol, Biliran, Dinagat, and Leyte ( Musser and Heaney, 1992).

COMMENTS: Included within " Apomys abrae-hylocetes Group " by Musser (1982b).
