DISTRIBUTION: S Nayarit and C Veracruz, Mexico, to NW Nicaragua, excluding Yucatan Peninsula and Caribbean tropical lowlands.

SYNONYMS: brunneus , grisescens , handleyi, infernatis, nebulosus , nigrescens , pallidus , pullus .
