Material studied: ♂, Japan, north-eastern Hokkaido, Shiretoko-toge , 650 m, 21.08.1990, leg. M. Sakai ( EUMJ) ; 2 ♂♂, south-western Hokkaido, Nopporo Forest Park, Osawaguchi, Ebetsu City, 10–11.2005, leg. T. Lackner ( MHNG) .

Remarks. This species seems to be endemic to Hokkaido, where it has been collected previously in three locali- ties.
