Material examined. China: Beijing City: one adult (in alcohol, W-97-20), Xiaolongmen (39°57'57"N, 115°26'28"E), from litter, 6– 7 Oct., 1997, leg. Hui-Fu Wang and Jun Chen; one adult (in alcohol, W-97-21), same data as W-97-20; one adult (in alcohol, CJ-02-1), Huilongguan (40°03'53"N, 116°19'01"E), from litter under grass, 23 Mar., 2002, leg. Jun Chen; one adult (in alcohol, CJ-07-22), Fangshan District, Xiayunling, Simatai (39°46'28"N, 115°38'06"E), from litter under deadwood, 2070M, 5, Jul., 2007, leg. Jun Chen; one adult (in alcohol, CJ-07-23), Huairou District, Hongluo Temple, Guanjingtai (40°22'40"N, 116°38'15"E), from litter under pine, 1, Jul., 2007, leg. Yan Deng. New record for China.
Measurements. Prodorsum: length 255–300, width 195–220, height 110–115, setae: ss 105, in 100, le 70, ro 70, ex 25, distance between setae: ro -ro 55, in -in 80, le -le 45, in -le 85, le -ro 50; notogaster: length 520–600, width 395–410, height 365–380; setae: c1 75, c2 75, c3 55, c p 55, d1 55, d2 55, e1 70, e2 60, h1 85, h2 60, h3 62, ps1 75, ps2 50, ps3 55; distance between setae: c1-d1 125, d1-e1 160, e1-h1 140, h1-ps1 95; ventral region: genitoaggenital plate 245×80, anoadanal plate 255×65.
Description. Surface of body covered with distinct foveolae, except region under lateral carinae smooth. Prodorsum with two parallel lateral carinae on each side, upper carina stronger and irregular; sensilli long and setiform, barbed in distal half; interlamellar and lamellar setae robust, erect, covered with small spines in distal half; rostral setae rough and semi-erect, bent distally; exobothridial setae short and fine; comparative length: ss>in> le = ro>ex. Notogaster with 14 pairs of setae, relatively short, covered with small spines in distal half; vestigial setae f1 located anteriorly of setae h1. Genital plates with nine pairs of setae, g1-3 fine, located in progenital position, other setae thick and slightly long; two pairs of aggenital setae present, nearly equally thick and long; three pairs of anal and three pairs of adanal setae present, setae an1 and an2 smooth and flagellate at distal end, setae an3 and adanal setae shorter, robust and covered with small spines in distal half; lyrifissures iad situated between setae an3 and ad3. Setae h of mentum longer than distance between them; palps three-segmented with setal formula: 2-2- 8(1). Chaetotaxy of legs (without tarsi): I: 1-3-5(2)-5(1); II: 1-4-3(1)-5(1), III: 2-2-2(1)-2(1), IV: 2-1-1(1)-2(1); all legs heterotridactylous.
