Centromyrmex brachycola var. paulina Forel, 1911e:287. Syntype: 1 w. [ Brazil, São Paulo, São Paulo], SP, Ipiranga; 17.x.1907; H. Luederwaltdt [col.]; nº 10.853. Junior synonym of Centromyrmex brachycola (Roger 1861a:5) (see Kempf 1967b:405) .
