Mantelatto, 05.v.2004 ; 1 ♀ ov, CCDB 3286 , Ubatuba, Enseada do Flamengo, Praia Lamberto / Saco do Codó , coll. F. Mantelatto et al., 03.iv.2011 ; 1 ♀ (parental with larvae), CCDB 3495, São Sebastião, Araçá, coll. F. Mantelatto, 01.vi.2006.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (Florida) to Brazil (Ceará and from Pernambuco to Santa Catarina) ( Christoffersen 1998; Pachelle et al. 2016).

Previous records. São Sebastião ( Amaral et al. 2010; Terossi & Mantelatto 2014); locality not mentioned ( Christoffersen 1998).

Remarks. Studies with this species on São Paulo coast are rare and include the zoea I morphology ( Terossi & Mantelatto 2014). Sequences accession number (GenBank): CCDB 3842 - 16S ( KU312978 ).
