Material examined. 1♂ 1♀, Guposhan, Hezhou, Guangxi, China, 17 July, 2010, collected by Jian-Hua Huang.

Discussion. The type locality of Lipotactes sinicus ( Bey-Bienko, 1959) is Guangdong . Lipotactes sinicus was also recorded from Hunan and Fujian ( Liu & Jin, 1999), but the description did not conform with the species. We surmise that the species distributed in Hunan and Fujian is not Lipotactes sinicus .

Distribution. China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Fujian?, Hunan?).
