Type locality: Palestine, Jericho, St. George’s Monastery .

Distribution. Israel, probably more widespread in the Near East ( Amsel 1935; Slamka 2019), Iran (new record).
Remarks. Forewing length of the single examined specimen (male) 8.4 mm; wingspan 18.6 mm (n = 1). The genitalia and the eighth abdominal segment of the Iranian examined male ( Fig. 5C‒F View FIGURE 5 ) match those of paratype depicted by Slamka (2019), but slightly differ in the editum that is wider and dilated distally, and the saccus is wider at base ( Fig. 5C, D View FIGURE 5 ). This species is newly reported for the fauna of Iran.
