Acrosternum (Chinavia) rideri Frey-da-Silva & Grazia 2001, 113, 120–126. Chinavia rideri: Schwertner & Grazia 2007 , 420, 424, 432.
Diagnosis. External margins of pronotum, hemelytra, connexivum and apex of scutellum with an orange band. Black spots present on the anterior and posterior margins of the connexivum and on the cicatrices of the pronotum. Humeral angles truncate. Tylus outlined in black.
Adult size. 12–14mm.
Distribution. Brazil (BA, DF, GO, MG, MT, SP).

Comments. The only species of Chinavia endemic to the Brazilian Cerrado. Can be distinguished from C. erythrocnemis by its dark spiracles and from C. pontagrossensis by the immaculate scutellum.
