( Figs. 1 View Figs , 3 View Figs , 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17)
Description. Length about 2.5–3.1 mm. Body almost concolorous, reddish brown to dark brown. Body ( Fig. 1 View Figs ) about 2.1 times as long as wide, with dense, yellowish pubescence on dorsum. Head with seta bearing punctures sparser and finer than on pronotum, weakly microreticulate. Occiput without occipital carina, glabrous, strongly microreticulate. Antenna club ( Fig. 3 View Figs ) with 4-articles, antennomeres 1–3 longer than wide and other antennomeres wider than long, antennomere 2 about 1.6 times longer than 3, antennomere 11 hemispherical and rounded apically. Clypeus almost straight on anterior margin. Labrum hexagonal, almost straight at apex. Mentum (Fig. 7) not emarginated apically. Mandible with blunt incisor tooth and a small, blunt median tooth present at apical fifth, smooth molar lobe present. Galea (Fig. 5) with proximal sclerite bearing 1 long and blunt seta, lacinia with 1 large, blunt seta at apex. Pronotum with scattered large and small seta bearing punctures, weakly microreticulate. Elytra little wider than pronotum, with large and small seta bearing punctures and with 9 longitudinal striae formed by large seta bearing punctures, sutural stria distinct and slightly curved, not microreticulate. Prosternum weakly pubescent, strongly microreticulate. Mesosternum with carina, less pubescent, microreticulate. Metasternum densely pubescent at medial region and sparser laterally, large seta bearing punctures laterally present, weakly microreticulate. Tarsal formula 5-5- 5 in both sexes. Protibia ( Fig. 9 View Figs ) with some blunt setae at apex, protarsus dilated in both sexes. Metafemur (Fig. 11) serrated along inner lower margin in male, male metafemur little wider than female, metatibia slightly curved in male and straight in female. Abdomen with 4 visible sternites in female and 5 visible sternites in male, intersegmental membranes between sternites long and with a brick-wall surface pattern. Aedeagus ( Figs. 13 and 15 View Figs ) elongate. Parameres long and slender, abundant long setae present along lateral margin, many short setae present ventrally, longitudinal medial ridge with 2 long and some short setae present in dorsal region. Basal bulb deeply emarginated at dorsal apex, slender and slightly curved laterally. Spermatheca (Fig. 17) tubular and slender, not expanded apically.

Distribution. Korea.
Remarks. This new species can be easily distinguished from most Japanese species of Colon by the male metafemur lacking striking projections. Colon ( Myloechus ) koreanus is similar to C. (M.) tametomoi Hoshina, but can be distinguished by its body length of 2.5–3.1 mm, male metafemur with simple hind margin (Fig. 11), and relatively slender aedeagus in lateral aspect ( Fig. 15 View Figs ). In contrast, C. (M.) tametomi has body length of about 4.0 mm, male metafemur triangularly projected at the posterior corner, and a relatively robust aedeagus.
