Note. The genus Thorax was established for the single species Phoraspis (Thorax) porcellana Saussure, 1862 from "Les Indes orientales. Les montagnes des Neelgheries" ( Saussure 1863, p. 145). The structure of the male genitalia of this species was briefly described by Roth (1972).
