Genus Phlebonotus Saussure, 1862

Type species: Phoraspis pallens Audinet-Serville, 1831 . By monotypy.

Note. The genus Phlebonotus was established for the single species P. pallens from "Indes orientalis " ( Audinet-Serville 1831). Later, a second species, P. anomalus Saussure, 1863 , was added to this genus ( Saussure 1863). The structure of the male genitalia of P. pallens and P. anomalus was briefly described by Roth (1972).
