Remarks. The species presents a wide distribution throughout West and Central Africa ( Beinhundner 2017b; Schoolmeesters 2019). The species is syntopic with Myodermum alutaceum (Afzelius, 1817) in Jemberem. Biodiversity information (e.g. abundance, habitat preference, phenology) was provided for GHA by Mudge et al. (2012) and Joly (2018) and for SLN by Malec (2015). This last author tried to breed captive adults, but all larvae died in the last instar. It is a new species record for TOB Administrative Region of Guinea-Bissau.
