Key to the species of Allenipeplus
1. Most of body (head, thorax and proximal abdominal ventrites) markedly lighter than distal parts of elytra and three apical segments of abdomen (dark brown to blackish); prosternal process at apex more than 1.5× as wide as at narrowest place; mesal edges of femoral concavities on mesothorax subparallel in posterior 2/3. Female: pygidial apex subsemicircular. Length 12.6 mm. New Guinea. Figs. 17–21 View FIGURES 17 – 21 , 25 View FIGURES 22 – 25 ........................................................ - Most of dorsum dark to blackish and only anterior part of head, elongate stripe on each elytron and frequently median parts of tergites lighter (almost reddish); prosternal process at apex markedly less than 1.5× as wide as at narrowest place; inner edges of femoral concavity on mesothorax arcuately divergent in posterior 2/3. Philippines................................2
2. Pronotum subquadrangular and with subtruncate anterior edge; antennal scape more than three times as wide as pedicel, antennal club about 1/3 of entire antennal length.
