Type locality: India, Darjeeling
Distribution. Indian records: Sikkim, Darjeeling ( Snellen 1890, Robinson et al. 1994), Uttarakhand (Nainital) ( Smetacek 2008), West Himalaya ( Sanyal et al. 2018), Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya ( Sondhi et al. 2021). Global records: Moulmein, Rangoon ( Myanmar), Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Burma, Thailand, Vietnam, lower montane (800 – 1200 m) ( Robinson et al. 1994).
