The MHNG collection contains the two specimens in alcohol in two vials. The first vial (MHNG- ARTO-14526) contains one specimen broken into two pieces, two smaller vials, one containing gonopods and the other the head and anterior segments, and a label with “ ♂ type 64 segm.” written on it. The second vial (MHNG-ARTO-14527) contains one specimen broken into two pieces and a label with “ ♀ 64 segmte ” written on it. The identification labels in the jar both have “ ♂ type ♀ Anaimalais Voy. J. Carl” written on them, indicating that the specimens are syntypes.
