Genus Valentinella nov.

Type species: Valentinella vitrollense sp. nov.

Known range: Maastrichtian, Arc Basin, southern France.

Diagnosis.—That of the type species.

Etymology.—Dedicated to Xavier Valentin (University of Poitiers, France), who discovered the specimens.
