Ophryodendron pedicellatum Hincks, 1873

Record as epibiont on cnidarians: The O. pedicellatum was described by Hincks (1873) as epibiont on hydroid Kirchenpaueria pinnata (Linnaeus, 1758) collected in Dredged off the Capstone, Ilfracombe, Wales, UK. This organism was also reported to grow on hydroid Plumularia setacea (Linnaeus, 1758) from Messina, Italy ( Kahl 1934).

Record as epibiont on other hosts: The species was found attached on the copepod Ameira sp. from Bay of Piran (Gulf of Trieste, North Adriatic), Slovenian coastal waters ( Fernandez-Leborans et al. 2012).
