Diagnosis. Forewing: recurrent humeral vein absent, costal area broad, narrowed toward the wing base, with deeply forked veinlets, Sc and R1 most probably fused; Rs with more than 5 but less than 10 branches; short middle and longer outer series of crossveins present, MP bifurcating distal to origin of MA, first branches of Rs and MP with deep terminal forks, anterior branch of CuP deeply forked terminally.
Type and only species. Proberotha superba Riek, 1955 by original designation.
