Distribution. Palaearctic (excluding North Africa, Middle East and Middle Asia); introduced to North America ( Colonnelli 2013).
Material examined. 42 specimens ( KUMN, ZIN) .
Biology. Wetlands, forest meadows and sandy areas; abundant in disturbed biotopes. Adults occur in V–VIII. In Ukraine it is documented on Rumex acetosella (Polygonaceae) .
