Range , middle plateau, 1000 m, Bin-Bash-Koba cave env., Fagus forest, under bark, N. Yunakov leg., 22.vi.2003 ; Donetsk Prov.: 1 spec. ( KUMN) Donetsk, on dead Salix, Trikhleb leg., 8.viii.2000 ; Kharkiv Prov.: 1 spec. ( KUMN) Kharkiv, Lisopark , under bark of pear tree, A.N. Drogvalenko leg., 18.vi.1998 ; Luhansk Prov: 3 spec. ( KUMN) 15 km SSE Sorokyne [=Krasnodon], Provalskyi Step Nature Reserve , Trikhleb leg., 5.vii.2000 .

Biology. Nemoral and mixed forests. Adults occur in IV–VIII. Polyphagous on Sordariomycetes (Ascomycota) fungi associated with dead wood of deciduous trees; larva develops in pycnidia. It is documented on Diatrype stigma . ( Diatrypaceae ) ( Cymorek 1963; Lompe 2001; Olberg et al. 2015).
