Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor, Siberia, Russian Far East ( Caldara 2013b).

Biology. Wetlands. Adults occur in I–VI, VIII–XI ( Dieckmann 1983). On Groenlandia densa , Stuckenia pectinata ( Hoffmann 1954) ; Potamogeton sp., Carex sp., Sagittaria sagittifolia ( Dieckmann 1964; Smreczyński 1972; Lohse 1983e); Ranunculus repens ( Dieckmann 1983; Caldara & O’Brien 1998); Potamogeton crispus , P. lucens , P. natans (occasionally?) ( Caldara & O’Brien 1998).
