- Three katepisternal setae; anatergite bare; 3 or 4 postsutural dorsocentral setae; abdomen with rather dense or thin whitish-gray pruinosity, sometimes distinct on anterior 1/2–2/3 of each tergite; male cerci broader, at most weakly bent ventrally....... 3

Four postsutural dorsocentral setae; anepimeral seta extending at most to level of anterior 1/2 of lower calypter; 2 presutural acrostichal setae; male inner vertical setae very fine, hair-like and directed forward, sometimes indistinguishable from postocellar setae near vertex; anatergite bare; lower calypter white or at most pale yellowish tinged...........
