Microlithosia Daniel, 1954 , Bonner zoologische Beiträge 5(1–2): 135. Type species: Microlithosia shaowuica Daniel, 1954 . TL: China (Shaowu).
Adults of the genus Microlithosia from Laos are hardly distinguishable by the maculation on wings. M. umbripuncta and M. nanlingica have the golden and fuscous yellowish forewing with costal margin convex medially, while M. laosana n. sp., has yellow brownish forewing with costal margin slightly convex about 1/3 of apex.
Distribution. South China, North Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Borneo, Malay Peninsula, India.
