Figs 7–9

Etymology: The name refers to the rather plain appearance of the species which lacks the often Terebellides - characteristic expansions of head features and/or anterior segments.

Diagnosis: The species is characterized by the well developed second segment that is ventrally even wider than the third, first chaetigerous, segment. The acicular uncini in TC-6 lack a characteristic angle at their bend but rather are cane-shaped.
